Apricot kernel oil cosmetic Kvita belongs to the category of light, non-comedogenic, which means it “friends” the skin, does not create a feeling of heaviness and an oily film. It is well integrated into the own lipid layer of the epidermis, softening, moisturizing and restoring it.

The oil is intended for the care of the skin of the face and body for the purpose of massage, nutrition, softening, moisturizing, reducing dryness and flaking due to sunbathing, and also as a means for removing makeup.

Features of the chemical composition:

Contains vitamin F in active form, mono- and polyunsaturated acids, natural wax, stearin, vitamins of group A, B, C, D, E, phospholipids, tocopherols, enzymes, pectins, pantothenic acid, mineral salts.

It has high biological activity, slows down aging processes, prevents the appearance of wrinkles. It is well absorbed and assimilated by the skin, deeply penetrating and nourishing the skin to the deepest layers. Can be used for erotic purposes (vaginal lubricant).

Application

Apricot oil has been used in medicine and cosmetics since ancient times. Has nourishing properties, suitable for everyday skin care of any type. It is used in its pure form, mixed with other vegetable oils, to enrich cosmetics – 10-15% apricot oil in creams, lotions; 5-10% – in shampoos, balms; as a basis for dissolving essential oils – 3-5 drops of essential oil per 10 ml of apricot oil.

Skin cleansing, makeup removal: apply a few drops to a cotton pad dipped in hot water and wrung out and wipe the skin.

Hot masks, applications: heat the oil in a water bath. Place a napkin soaked in apricot oil (pure or with essential oils) on the skin. The duration of the procedure is 15-30 minutes, 1-2 times a day.

With dry, inflamed skin, acne: up to 1-2 tbsp. spoon of apricot oil, add 1-2 drops of essential oils: 1) sandalwood, orange, blue chamomile or 2) lavender, cloves.

Oil for daily skin care:

Oil to eliminate wrinkles around the eyes: up to 1 tbsp. add 1 drop each of sandalwood, lime and neroli or 2 drops each of sandalwood and rose to a spoonful of apricot oil.

Moisturizing oil for daily body care: apricot oil or its mixture with other vegetable oils, or aromatic oil: up to 1 tbsp. add 1-2 drops of lavender, sandalwood, ylang-ylang to a spoonful of apricot oil. Use after a bath or shower.

Mixture for care of rough skin on elbows and heels: up to 1 tbsp. add 1 drop each of lavender, orange and bergamot essential oils to a spoonful of apricot oil.

Lip care: up to 1-2 tbsp. spoon of apricot oil, add 1-2 drops of lime, mint, rose and lemon balm. Apply oil to the lips every morning and evening.

Hair care: lubricate, lightly rubbing the roots of the hair 15-20 minutes before washing with apricot oil or its mixture with jojoba oil (1: 1), or aromatic oils – up to 1 tbsp. to a spoonful of apricot oil, add 2-3 drops of one of the mixtures of essential oils: 1) ginger and pine or 2) eucalyptus, orange, cedar.

Massage: pure oil is used or mixed with other fatty oils, or with the addition of 3-5 drops of essential oils.

For scars and stretch marks: rub apricot oil or its mixture with other vegetable oils or aromatic oils into problem areas – up to 1-2 tbsp. spoon of apricot oil, add 2-3 drops to one of the mixtures of essential oils: 1) rosemary, lavender, mint, clove (2: 1: 1: 1) or 2) rosemary, lemon and orange (3: 1: 1).

For cellulite: carry out a hard massage with apricot oil or aromatic oils – up to 1-2 tbsp. spoon of apricot oil, add 2-3 drops to one of the mixtures of essential oils: 1) geranium, juniper, lemon, fennel or 2) lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus.

Nail care: apricot oil in its pure form or in a 1:1 mixture with one of the vegetable oils, or with the addition of 1 tbsp. spoons of apricot oil, 2-3 drops of lemon, eucalyptus, lavender. Apply and massage the nail and nail plate for 15-20 minutes every day.

Applications for burns: up to 1 tbsp. add 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil to a spoonful of apricot oil. Apply to a gauze napkin and apply to the affected area.

Storage conditions

After opening, store in the refrigerator.
