Description
Extract – Horytsvit concentrate (Horytsvit).
Storage. St. John’s wort, water, propylene glycol.
Chemical composition. The herb contains cardiac glycosides, flavonoids, coumarins, tannins, alkaloids, saponins, phytosterols, vitamin C, organic acids, chromium and manganese.
Pharmacological properties. St. John’s wort preparations are recommended for the treatment and prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, diuretic and tonic effect.
Cardenolides (cardenolides), which are very useful in the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system, are among the main active substances of St. John’s wort.
