Description

Mustard oil is used in perfumery for the preparation of various creams and the best grades of toilet soap; in pharmaceuticals, oil is part of liquid ointments (liniment); it is widely used in the production of food products: margarine, canned food, cookies; for the preparation of mustard bread – mustard oil is added to it.

Mustard oil has long been used in Indian cuisine and Vedic medicine. In the writings of Avicenna, mustard is mentioned under the name hardal.

Production method: cold pressing of seeds.

Designed for face and body skin care for the purpose of massage, nutrition, softening, moisturizing, reducing dryness and flaking due to sunbathing, as well as a make-up remover.

Features of the chemical composition: contains vitamins of groups B, A, PP, D, E, K, P, polyunsaturated fatty acids (vitamin F), phytosterols, chlorophyll, phytoncides, glycosides. Mustard oil contains a significant amount of linoleic and linolenic acids.

Mustard oil is quickly and deeply absorbed into the skin, contributing to active nutrition, softening, cleansing and moisturizing, and also perfectly protects the skin from wrinkles and premature aging. It is a powerful natural hair growth stimulator, prevents hair loss. It has anti-inflammatory, wound healing and antiseptic action.

Application

Mustard oil, due to its nutritional properties, improves the condition of dry, irritated skin, reduces the number of wrinkles, and prevents premature aging. Used in its pure form, mixed with other vegetable oils, to enrich cosmetics – 10-15% mustard oil in creams, lotions; 5-10% – in shampoos, balms; as a basis for dissolving essential oils – 3-5 drops of essential oil per 10 ml of mustard oil.

Skin cleansing, make-up removal: apply a few drops to a cotton pad soaked in hot water and wrung out and wipe the skin.

Hot masks, applications: heat the oil in a water bath. Apply a napkin soaked in mustard oil (pure or with essential oils) on skin areas. The duration of the procedure is 15-30 minutes, 1-2 times a day.

Mask for the care of combination skin: in pure form or in combination with peach oil (1:1), or added to 1 tbsp. spoon base 1-2 drops of essential oils of ylang-ylang, neroli, lemon and mint.

With aging, flabby, tired and wrinkled skin: to 1 tbsp. spoon add 1 drop of essential oils of sandalwood, mint and rose or sandalwood, orange and rosewood.

For dry and chapped hands: once a week, take a warm mustard oil bath. If nails break, add 3-5 drops of iodine tincture.

Oil for daily skin care: for inflamed skin and acne: to 1 tbsp. Spoon add 2 drops of essential oils of lavender and cloves.

Moisturizing oil for body skin care: pure mustard oil or with the addition of other oils in a 1:1 ratio, as well as essential oils of lavender, sandalwood and ylang-ylang (1-2 drops of essential oils per 1 tablespoon of base oil ).

Hair care: lubricate, lightly rubbing into the hair roots 15-20 minutes before washing with mustard oil or its mixture with jojoba oil in a ratio of 1: 1, or aromatic oils – to 1 tbsp. add 2-3 drops of one of the mixtures of essential oils to a spoonful of mustard oil: 1) ginger and pine or 2) eucalyptus, orange, cedar.

Massage: pure oil is used or mixed with other fatty oils, or with the addition of 3-5 drops of essential oils.

For scars and stretch marks: rub mustard oil or its mixture with other vegetable oils or aromatic oils into problem areas – to 1-2 tbsp. spoons of mustard oil add 2-3 drops of one of the mixtures of essential oils: 1) rosemary, lavender, mint, cloves (2:1:1:1) or 2) rosemary, lemon and orange (3:1:1).

For cellulite: conduct a hard massage with mustard oil or aromatic oils – to 1-2 tbsp. spoons of mustard oil, add 2-3 drops of one of the mixtures of essential oils: 1) geranium, juniper, lemon, fennel, or 2) lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus.

Nail care: pure mustard oil or mixed 1:1 with one of the vegetable oils, or added to 1 tbsp. a spoonful of mustard oil, 2-3 drops of lemon, eucalyptus, lavender. Deals daily
